Cosplay (jap. kosupure), a portmanteau
of the English words "costume" and
"play", is a Japanese subculture centered
on dressing as characters from manga, anime,
tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly,
Japanese live action television shows, fantasy
movies, or Japanese pop music bands. However,
in some circles, "cosplay" has been
expanded to mean simply wearing a costume. (source:

Welcome! We're more than happy to add new faces
to our galleries! If you want to join, just
send any pictures you want us to post to corelliandawn@gmail.com,
along with a brief intro or biography. Tell
us a little about yourself, where you're from
and how you got into cosplaying. There's no
limit to creativity.
Please send no more than 5MB of data
per e-mail, and be aware that we will not post
any images that are of tasteless/pornographic/racist/violent
content. Once we receive your pictures, we will
set up your gallery within a few days and notify
you when it's done. |
Okay, it's not like we go out there pointing
at people and decide who's going to be on our
site and who isn't. People usually send us their
pictures asking if we could post them. We don't
reject anyone, provided the pics aren't violating
any of our above named rules or are against
good taste. So please feel free to send us your
stuff, no matter if you're a pro or just a beginner.
Even if you might feel your photos might not
yet be good enough... go ahead, we assure you
they're great! All that matters is the fun ;-) |
We've been asked repeatedly why we don't show
pictures of official Lara Croft models. This
is a fan website, hosting content made by the
fans for other fans. Our policy is to support
people who do this for fun and with passion,
not because they get paid to do it. Cosplay
is fun, but also hard work, and our cosplayers
want to be recognized and love to see their
work appreciated. No comparison with official
models is needed. If you're looking for official
pictures, please visit the models' websites. |

spray art, poems, sculptures, custom figures,

We don't publish e-mail addresses in the galleries
for a reason - except when a cosplayer explicitly
wishes it. Some of the girls/guys have had troubles
with insulting e-mails in the past. So please,
if you are interested in anyone's work and want
to cotact her/him, send us an e-mail to corelliandawn@gmail.com
- we will then contact the member and check
back with him /her if we're allowed to pass
on their contact data to you. |
We are three girls from Austria and England,
huge Tomb Raider and Star Wars fans (okay, we
love sci-fi and adventure in general) with passion
for our favorite games, movies and characters.
We brought this site to life because we wanted
to give others with the same interests an opportunity
to show their works and share their experiences
with others.

We are aware that there are a lot of large and
popular cosplay and fan websites out there,
and we aren't trying in any way to compete with
them or be compared to that sort of internet
work. All we do is for fun and as a personal
hobby, and because we found out others have
fun with it as well and feel good knowing that
their pictures are being published and appreciated
by others. |
